No. You can book directly. If you already have a referral letter, imaging, or notes from a previous operation, please bring them — they help Dr Kueh assess your case accurately and may save you repeating tests.

Dr Kueh will take your medical history, examine the area of concern, and set out the options available to you — including their risks, limitations, recovery time and cost.

You are under no obligation to proceed. Nothing is booked on the day, and you are encouraged to take the written plan home and think it over.

Minor procedures under local anaesthetic are performed at the clinic. Anything requiring general anaesthesia or an inpatient stay is performed at an accredited private hospital where Dr Kueh holds visiting privileges — KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital, Normah Medical Specialist Centre, or Borneo Medical Centre.

Cost depends on the procedure, the type of anaesthesia, how long you stay in hospital, and your individual anatomy. For that reason it cannot be quoted honestly over the phone or from a website.

After your consultation you will receive a written estimate covering surgeon, anaesthetist and facility fees, so there are no surprises.

It varies enormously. Some in-clinic treatments have no meaningful downtime; major body contouring surgery can mean several weeks off work and several months before swelling fully settles and the final result is visible.

Dr Kueh will give you a realistic timeline for your specific procedure, including when you can drive, return to work, and exercise again.

Reconstructive surgery carried out for a medical reason — after trauma, burns, or cancer, for example — is often covered. Purely cosmetic surgery generally is not.

Consultations can be held in English, Mandarin, Hakka or Bahasa Malaysia.

Malaysian regulations on medical advertising do not permit clinics to publish before and after photographs or patient testimonials on a public website. Where relevant, clinical examples can be discussed with you privately during your consultation.

Patients under 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must attend the consultation. For certain procedures Dr Kueh may recommend waiting until growth is complete, and will explain why.

You will be given clear post-operative instructions and a direct contact for the clinic. Follow-up appointments are part of your treatment, not an added cost. In a genuine emergency, go straight to the nearest hospital emergency department or call 999.
